Daichi says:
so once again, why are we in this profession? I don't get it.
the co-op that I was working with last summer is currently doing
data-entry as a job. ??? He told me a lot of the jobs that he's
been looking for are expecting 5 years experience. Its really
stupid. The guy is really good, (he just graduated this winter) and
its sad. (Andrew, I think you met him at paintball, Sebastien)
Meanwhile I'm just dying to get out of here today hahahah... weather
sux but I want to take pictures!!!!!!!

Was the first season of Futurama that good? I think I lost interested in that show pretty quickly.
50$US is pretty darn steep. Then again, if there are enough episodes on it... X-files boxes are
pretty pricey too. But for about 24 episodes(?) its a decent deal. The first season of Simpsons had
something like 12 episodes? bleah. It was tiny. Not to mention - who here has actually WATCHED
all those dvd episodes? I've maybe watched one or two, - I find them pretty bad...
Weird, I didn't notice the different Simpsons release dates - I've seen June11, this Jul9 and Jul4. Oddly,
www.snpp.com hasn't updated themselves in a while regarding the release dates.
The rookie eh? I figure I'll see Resident Evil just for Milla... Blade 2 is coming out soon :)
how 'bout a vacation in September?

may... what the... my sister's on vacation @ the same time. I'm going to have to think about this.
Also, world cup is in Korea/Asia around that time, so... you'll get to see lots of freaks. Then again,
Hawaii sounds cooool...
Marshmallow is disgusting.
regarding movies & critics. I haven't seen godfather park but I have to agree I'm wondering about critics
these days. They said "black hawk down" was a masterpiece (or whatever) - and I was all hyped to see
it. It had me on the edge of my seat throughout - but I don't think it deserves awards. That Russell Crowe
playing a mathematician - ugg, I thought it looked stupid from day 1, - once again, great reviews but from
ppl I know, "its a stinker" ... have movies gotten so bad that they have to give awards to half-decent movies?
Nothing really good has been out in a while - at least not since American Beauty that I can think of. Maybe
I'm just screwed up after wasting 10$(?) to see Collateral Damage (I did *NOT* intend to see it, I got screwed
with movie times when I got to the theatre) ... anyway terrible, terrrrrrible movie. I can't even find decent dvds
- at least not until Rashomon comes out later this month ; at a inflated price. (I was a little disappointed with
Criterion's "Seven Samurai" ; "Hidden Fortress" had an incredible transfer, 7S looked ~. Not terrible but could've
been nicer... ) sigh..
